We check the car is free for those days and confirm on WhatsApp or by email, with the handover time, the deposit and where to meet.
Take the keys
You meet the owner in Košice, look over the car together, sign a short rental agreement, and it is yours until the return day.

Can I see the car before I book?
Yes. Say so on WhatsApp and we arrange a look in Košice before you decide.
How do I pay?
You agree that with the owner when the days are confirmed. Nothing is taken on this page, and there is no card form anywhere on it.
Can somebody else drive it?
Only the person named in the rental agreement. If two of you want to drive, say so before the handover and both names go on it.
What if my plans change?
Tell us as early as you can. If the car is free we move your days; if it is not, we say so straight away.
Is the car insured?
Yes, it carries the compulsory Slovak insurance. The deposit and what the agreement covers are written into the rental agreement you sign at the handover, so read it before you drive off.
Can I take it outside Slovakia?
Tell us first. Some papers have to be in order before a border, so we agree it when we confirm your days.
Is Medently a car rental company?
No. We are the middleman: a friend in Košice rents out her own car, and we built this page and pass your request on. The rental itself is between you and her.
