No travelling anywhere

The things students ask us most
What is on the UPOL entrance exam?
Biology, chemistry, and either physics or mathematics — your choice. It is taken online from home, with 50 minutes per subject, and your preliminary result appears on screen right away (official the next day).
Is there an interview?
Yes, a short online motivational interview after you pass the written test. It is friendly and about you, not a second exam — and we practise it with you first.
What grades do I need?
None. You need a completed high-school diploma that qualifies you for university at home (vitnemål, A-Levels, IB or equivalent) — no specific subjects and no minimum grades. The exam decides.
Do I need IELTS or TOEFL?
Only if you already have one: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 87 count. If not, you sit UPOL's own English test on exam day — it is included in the exam fee, so there is no separate certificate to chase.
Where and when is the exam?
Fully online, from your own room. UPOL runs several sittings through spring and summer, and we book the date that fits you.
What does it cost?
The exam fee is €80, paid to UPOL — and it includes the English test. Medently's guidance and preparation are free.
How do I prepare?
With our practice material for biology, chemistry, physics and maths in the same style UPOL asks, plus a mock run and interview practice — all free from the day you apply.
Can I take it for dentistry too?
Yes. UPOL teaches both Medicine and Dentistry in English, and the entrance exam is the same style for both.
Ready to sit the UPOL exam?
