Term is about to start and most people assume the year has gone. It has not. Four of the universities we work with are still open to you. Two are running entrance exams in September, two admit on your grades with no exam at all, and three of the four can still start you this autumn.

University of Nicosia Medical School has no mark on this calendar, and that is rather the point. Its admission is rolling, so there is no date to catch: places simply go as they are filled.
What is open, and what each one asks of you
No vague reassurance. Two of these ask you to sit an exam and two do not. Real dates, real pass marks, real grade requirements, so you can decide today instead of hoping.
Biology and chemistry, in English, two hours thirty minutes, sat in person in Košice.
Scored out of 800. Medicine needs 570 and dentistry needs 620. One paper decides it, with no interview.
The university's own registration closes 22 August. We can often still get students onto a list close to a sitting, so ask us rather than assuming you are too late.
You start this autumn. Teaching has run in English since 1992 and the degree is recognised across the EU and EEA.
Fifty questions taken online from home, covering biology, chemistry and physics. Score 25 or more and you go through.
The 8 September round takes registrations until 25 August. The final round on 23 September takes them until 15 September.

Nicosia admits on your grades, so there is no sitting to catch and no date to miss. There is an online interview instead, and we prepare you for it together, free.
A 4.0 average overall and 4.0 in the sciences, including Biology and one of Chemistry, Physics or Maths, plus an English certificate.
Admission is rolling and places go as they are filled, so September 2026 is still possible while places remain. Spring 2027 and September 2027 are open too.

RSU admits on your school results rather than a sitting, so there is no exam date to catch.
Applications for the February intake run from 1 September to 1 December 2026, and decisions come back on a rolling basis.
Studies begin 2 February 2027. This is the one route here that is not an autumn start, and that is exactly why it is on the page.
If the September sittings do not go your way, this window is still open behind them. Nobody has to lose the whole year.

Can I still start medicine in September 2026?
Yes, and by more than one route. Pavol Jozef Šafárik University holds an entrance exam on 5 September 2026 in Košice, and Nicolaus Copernicus University runs online tests on 8 September and 23 September 2026. University of Nicosia Medical School needs no exam at all and admits on a rolling basis, so a September 2026 start is still possible there while places remain.
Is it too late to register for a September exam?
Almost certainly not. NCU takes registrations until 25 August for its 8 September test and until 15 September for the 23 September round. UPJŠ's own registration closes 22 August, and we can often still get a student onto a list close to a sitting. Ask us before you assume the door is shut.
Is there a route with no entrance exam at all?
Two of them. University of Nicosia Medical School admits on your grades, asking for a 4.0 average overall and 4.0 in the sciences including Biology, plus an English certificate and an online interview. Riga Stradiņš University also admits on school results. Neither has a sitting to catch.
What if I do not pass any of the September sittings?
The Riga Stradiņš University window for the February 2027 intake runs from 1 September to 1 December 2026, and University of Nicosia Medical School keeps taking applications on a rolling basis. Both admit on school results with no entrance exam, so one bad morning does not cost you the whole year.
Do I need biology and chemistry from school?
Not as a formal entry requirement at these universities. What matters is the exam itself, which covers biology and chemistry at UPJŠ, and biology, chemistry and physics at NCU. We give you the preparation material and coaching for whichever one you sit, free.
Are these degrees recognised?
Yes. These are EU medical faculties and the degrees are recognised across the EU and EEA, with the usual national registration step afterwards in whichever country you want to practise in.
What does Medently charge?
Nothing. The application, the exam registration, the document handling and the preparation material are all free for students. We are paid by the universities, not by you.
