Why Nicolaus Copernicus University?

A medical school named after a legend
Ludwik Rydygier performed some of the world's first stomach operations in the 1880s. Today the Collegium Medicum that carries his name is the medical heart of Nicolaus Copernicus University, with 4,800+ students across three faculties.

Every lecture, lab and exam of the six-year MD programme, running since 2009. The degree is recognised across the EU and EEA.
Practise before patients
The Centre for Medical Simulation lets you train procedures on high-tech simulators long before your first real ward round.
A real research university
NCU is one of only ten universities in Poland with official research university status. You study medicine inside a serious academic powerhouse.
From lecture halls to hospital wards
Clinical training runs through two university hospitals in Bydgoszcz, with hands-on summer clerkships from the very first year.
