Odd and even weeks, explained
Classes marked OCW or ECW on the paper timetable only run in odd or even calendar weeks. Week 38 (14 to 18 September 2026) is even, week 39 is odd, and so on.
Your calendar already puts them on the right weeks, and the week view above lets you flip through the term week by week.
Before you ask in the group chat
Is this the official UPJŠ timetable?
No. Medently built this page from the official timetables that the Faculty of Medicine published for the winter term 2026/27, for every year of General Medicine and Dental Medicine. We copied every class, time and room as carefully as we could, but times can change and we can make mistakes. The official timetable on the UPJŠ website always wins.
Will my calendar update if the timetable changes?
Yes, if you added it with the Apple or Google button. Those subscribe to a live calendar that we update when the faculty changes the sheet. Apple checks every few hours, Google can take up to a day. A downloaded file is a one-time copy and does not update.
I am a transfer student with subjects from different years. Can I use this?
Yes. Pick your programme, then Transfer student. Add each subject from the year it belongs to and choose a group for it. The lectures of that subject are added automatically, and the page shows which groups fit around what you already have.
Can I add the summer semester too?
Yes. Switch between Winter (1st semester) and Summer (2nd semester) when you pick your year, or right above your calendar buttons. Each semester is its own calendar. The faculty publishes the summer timetables later in the year, and we add them here as soon as they are out.
Why do you ask for my name?
Only so we know who uses the timetable. We do not ask for your email or phone, and we never share your name with anyone.
Where do I find my study group?
On the group list from the Study Department. It looks like 5a or 12b for General Medicine and 2a or 3c for Dental Medicine. If you are not sure, ask in your year's group chat before you add the calendar.
What do OCW and ECW mean?
Odd calendar week and even calendar week. The faculty counts weeks the European way. Week 38, from 14 to 18 September 2026, is even, week 39 is odd, and they alternate from there.
Why are there no classes on 2 November and 17 November?
2 November is a Rector's day off and 17 November is a public holiday in Slovakia. The calendar leaves both days empty.
How do I remove the calendar again?
On iPhone go to Settings, Apps, Calendar, Accounts, Subscribed Calendars and delete it. In Google Calendar open Settings, pick the calendar on the left and press Unsubscribe. An imported file has to be deleted event by event, which is one more reason to subscribe.
