Getting in is refreshingly simple

There is no entrance exam at the University of Nicosia Medical School. Admission is based on your grades meeting the requirements plus an online interview you record from home, in your own time. We prepare you for both.

Every lecture and exam of the six-year MD is taught in English, and you graduate with an EU medical degree from an EU member state.

More than one way in

School leavers take the six-year MD. If you already hold a degree, the five-year graduate entry MD (GEMD) is the faster route, and there is also a five-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Clear, predictable tuition

Tuition is €22,000 a year, the same for all six years, paid in instalments each semester. Need-based scholarships can reduce it by up to 20%.

Living costs you can actually plan

The university's own estimate is €9,000 to €12,000 a year, and on-campus residence rooms start at €500 a month with utilities and internet included.

What UNIC asks from Norwegian applicants

A vitnemål with minimum 4.0 overall and minimum 4.0 in your sciences, including Biology plus at least one more of Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. English is documented with IELTS 6.5 (with 6.5 in writing), TOEFL iBT 79 or another accepted test. Not sure where you stand? Send us your grades and we check for free.
