The requirements, exactly
- Your diploma — UNIC admits on your school grades. You need a strong school-leaving diploma with good results in biology and at least one more science subject such as chemistry, physics or mathematics. For Norwegian applicants the rule is concrete and in writing: an overall average of 4.0, with at least 4.0 in the sciences, including biology plus one more science.
- English — everyone documents English, with IELTS 6.5 the reference level (6.5 in writing, 6.0 in the other parts). TOEFL iBT 79, GCSE English grade 5, IB English SL 5 and Password Skills Plus are accepted alternatives.
- The interview — there is no entrance exam. Instead you record a short asynchronous online interview from home, in your own time. It is a structured conversation, not an exam.
